Rita Castanheira is an artist and creative producer. Her practice and research focuses on the body’s relationship with technology through a combination of video and performance. She is interested in the different ways digital devices, popular internet culture and social media are shaping our identities.
She is currently working for London College of Communication as the Project Lead for Without Form Space, an online exhibition space for LCC students to explore producing online exhibitions through collaboration. Rita is also the Management Assistant at Blank100, an artist residency that supports artists willing to improve their environmental impact within their practice situated in Odemira, Portugal.
