Rita Castanheira (b.1996) is a Portuguese artist based in between Porto and London since 2018. She studied Fine Art Multimedia at University of Porto, and completed her masters degree from Chelsea College of Arts in 2020.
She is interested in exploring the virtual broadcasting of the body in relation to ideas of fragility, identity and invisibility in the digital age. Her practice moves between different digital mediums, moving image, drawing and installation.
